Description
This is my entry for this superb contest :
"If I have to search you in every corner of this cave to defeat you necromancer, it will be done. I may kill you, but consider you as lucky, I'm not like you, I will not "play" with you. This will be quick. Just the blink of an eye, and your obnoxious existance will end here. I let to the gods the joy of choosing the punishment for your life of crimes and sins."
Result of the fight : Anelyelle, 1 and Necromancer, 0.
Let me introduce you (again?) Anellyelle, my main character in the role play game Pathfinder. She's an Elven wizard of evocation, and travels with her red squirrel Airamir, and with a wild barbarian called Gâougrou (he grew up with a bear familly). :3
She has an uncommon way to protect what she loves. BURN THE ENNEMIES, and some others variations such as thunder, acid,... And it's commonly accepted as quick and efficient.
Born in a big elven city deep in the forest, from quite rich parents, she started to study magic early just to learn somthing new. Both the incredibly powerfull spells attainable and a constant threat on the city (a kind of war between chaotic forces on one side, and "purification" angels on the other, now problem solved (dead)) gave her the will to use it for the sake of elves and forest. So she started adventures with her recently adopted squirrel Airamir, not without difficulties, due to her total absence of physical preparation (try to live when you rolled a 5 in strength, with an average around 12). But quickly, magic overtook these problems. Why do you need resistance and strengh if you can evaporate the problems before they reach you? This logic may not be the best, but worked most of the time. Now part of a group with some constant members such as Albireo, a former goblin reborn as a white kitsune, priest of Irori.
She will do anything to protect order, knowledge, nature, and any elves. But nothing (for the moment?) is more important than knowledge for her. Those interests made her strongly believe in Shelyn (goddes of beauty, arts, nature,...) who gave her the honor to answer to her prays twice.
She is a bit obtuse concerning the use of necromancy : just don't, or die. Trust her words. Even if she had to explore a full country to find you, she will do it. This is exactly what she's doing right now (RPG campaign in progress), plus implying some god avatar trying to mess up everything he can... We'll see what will happen.
Edit : It did well. Necromancers were killed (burnt), crystals were broken, end filthy god thing got destroyed. It could have turned really bad for Anelyelle, death was a bit to close many times... I will surely one day draw her in one of her most glorious moment of the final battle, hiding behind a huge pillar with 4 mirror images to be safer.
Anyway, she's alive. Yay!
So the adventure continues, with lots of 20 hours living houses on the way. (Yeah, why spend money when you can just summon a house?).
